Corallium

What is Corallium?

Compliant

Corallium is a blockchain asset to the different SEC regulations. The only way for blockchain assets to grow and evolve is to abide by the current regulatory standards met, and to provide a true product that Corallium can be used for.

Green

Corallium is completely Proof of Stake, NO mining to keep the network healthy. Instead of investing a large amount of money in mining equipment you can just safely have any computer regardless of form factor or processing power with a capable internet connection and wallet for that operating system. Simply keep the wallet running, active, and synced to the network to receive rewards for helping to maintain the network.

Ongoing

Corallium is a ongoing project where we have allot in mind for the future developments. Instead of battling Corralium to be accepted as a payment method we will make our own shop where it would be possible in the start to buy Corals, and will branch out to other water related purchases. Right now we have 2 confirmed Aquatic merchants confirmed. Future API and payment solutions libraries are planned for easy in integrations to other platforms.

Corallium is to be stable yet profitable for the stakers, and through the network, make a foundation which can in turn make a positive impact not limited to just the blockchain space; but to the rest of the world. One of the ways Corralium will have a positive effect on the world is via Proof of Stake(PoS), where you just have a wallet open which helps the network. Instead of what you see in allot of other staking coins where they are taking 10% to sometimes 20% of your staking reward we will only take 0.75% to further developments, and 0.75% to a donation pool, where you and the rest of the community can vote on what the money should go to.
This could for example be donation the fund to eco projects like replanting of coral reefs, which in turn would have a good chance of getting media coverage. Beyond Eco projects the community would be able to list possible options such investing the fund into more marketing, or investing the money into the further development of the project. The donation wallet address is public, and all transactions liquidation to fiat and where they money goes will be made public for all to see.

The Vision

The whole vision of Corralium is to be a positive force both crypto space and in the real world.
So far there haven’t been a lot of blockchain projects which have really aied to make a lasting impact on the world outside of the blockchain space. In time we wish for Corallium to become less centralised and always move towards becoming more decentralised. Way to do this would to make the voting on the donation pool be made through the blockchain itself much how Dash does their decentralized governance voting system, but for now that would have to made manually. When Corallium starts to grow and expand more coins will be available for the donation pool, which the community chooses where it ought to go.

Future Developments
We in the Corralium team wants this project to be a very long term project, with further developments added to it.

A platform will be made to allow merchants to sell their aquatic goods. In the first phase of the platform it will only be 2 confirmed merchants who will be selling their Corals for USA wide distribution, with additional countries coming in, when more merchants join the platform. The platform will be made so it’s easy to branch out into other goods. The platform will start by accepting dollars, and once the Corallium payment system is thoroughly tested it will be integrated to the platform. The payment system will be open sourced and be thoroughly documented, so it’s easy for anyone to integrate Corallium to their payment solutions.

A mobile wallet, which simply holds your Corallium, where you easily can send and receive Coralium. The mobile wallet itself cannot stake the coins by itself, as it would eat up mobile internet plans fast. Instead it would be possible to connect your wallet to your stakings wallet which you might have on your computer, via your private key, and by doing that see your amount on the staking wallet, and easily access it. Possible other currencies could be added if the community wishes it.
